The winning ticket of our annual Buyer Bucks event was picked on December 3, 2023 at the Mt Sinai Tree Lighting event at Heritage Park.

The winning ticket came from Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse in Miller Place and on December 12, 2023, we are at Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse, where our 2023 Buyer Bucks winner Ms. Jackie DiGerolamo was awarded her $500 cash prize. We had over 1,000 entries from over a dozen participating businesses in the Mt. Sinai-Miller Place area. When consumers purchased $30 or more of goods or services, they had an opportunity to enter a ticket into the drawing during the period November 1-30. The purpose of this event was to encourage people to stay local when it comes to eating, shopping and picking service providers.
