Hi Chamber members,

We hope you are enjoying this beautiful Fall season that we are having here on Long Island.  From our Chamber Family to yours we wish you all a beautiful Thanksgiving shared with the people you love to be with and the wonderful foods and traditions that you enjoy at this time of year. Remember all the amazing things that you are thankful for.  We are thankful for our members and your continued support of our Chamber.

On October 30, we had our first ribbon cutting ceremony in over 2 years!  We were proud to celebrate with Maria Aherns and her staff of Paper Planes Childcare LLC their one-year anniversary at the ribbon cutting ceremony.  Suffolk County Legislator Sarah Anker and a representative from Jane Bonner’s office were on hand to congratulate and present Maria awards to commemorate the day. The children along with their parents who attend Paper Planes were dressed to the nines in their amazing Halloween costumes. Not to mention all the delicious Halloween candy that was given out!

On Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 8 a.m., we will be hosting our first Breakfast Meeting at our new member’s establishment The Flying Pig in Miller Place.  Please RSVP online and pay in advance the amount of $15.00.  A delicious breakfast will be served.  We are having this meeting to accommodate all our members who are normally unable to attend our evening events.  All our restaurant members – please join us.  We want to share all the great benefits that you are missing that can possibly increase traffic to your eateries. This is also a great opportunity to network with and meet the Board of Directors and fellow members.

Remember that Saturday, November 27, 2021 is Small Business Saturday. Please shop and eat local and support your community!

Finally, on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at 6 pm, we will be hosting our annual Holiday Party at The Hamlet at Willow Creek, in Mt. Sinai.  Please RSVP and pay the admission fee online as soon as possible. We will be having a live DJ, dinner, (cash bar), games, raffles and gift baskets.  We are asking our members to donate gift cards and items for our gift baskets.  This is a great way to promote your business!  Please contact us if you have a gift to donate.  We would love to see our full membership attend on this wonderful evening!

Our Chamber is comprised of hard-working volunteers who are constantly working on ways to connect its members to the community and visa versa.  We offer our members a tremendous platform in which to promote their businesses.  We offer networking, advertising, Member of the Month perks and our Loyalty Discount Card Program to promote their place in our community.  We offer our community opportunities to connect and support our wonderful members who offer goods, services, and eateries in our area. We are always looking for our members and community to support us in our endeavors by supporting local and volunteering your time to us in a variety of ways. More community involvement is imperative if we are to sustain our Chamber. If interested, please contact us and we will be happy to speak with you. Teamwork makes the dream work!
