Dear Member’s of the Mount Sinai-Miller Place Chamber of Commerce:

We know it’s been a while since our last Networking Meeting held at Alexandros and we miss seeing all of you. With that said, we will be having a get together on November 13th from 6-8pm at Daisy’s Nashville Lounge located at 275 NY25A in Miller Place. Daisy’s is a new member of our group and will be providing those who attend discounted prices on their Happy Hour food selection during that time. We look forward to supporting our new member and seeing all those who can make it.

In the meantime, the Board of Directors are busy on trying to get more residents around the area to shop within our Mt. Sinai & Miller Place Community. You maybe asking how are we doing this?

• Meeting with local representatives to discuss concerns we all have about our common area of 25A and what can be done to support businesses in this area.
• Getting grant money that is available to our Chamber and working with several businesses in our group to beautify as many areas as we can.
• Attending events held in Heritage Park and speaking to residents about what our Chamber and all its members are doing to help our communities and why we need their support.
• Promoting our members and reaching out to residents via Face Book, Instagram & Website.
• Having articles & Chamber information in the Neighbors of Mt. Sinai monthly publication.
• Doing Ribbon cutting events for our members who request this activity.
• Holding events such as our Buyer Bucks & Small Business Saturday promotions.
• Visiting with local businesses periodically to see what we can do to help them.
