Dear Chamber Members:

Starting on Thursday, June 10, small businesses in New York State will be able to apply for up to $50,000 in grants from Empire State Development. More than 330,000 small businesses in our state are eligible for funds from this $800 million small business recovery program.

This crucial aid can help business owners finance operating expenses incurred during the pandemic, including payroll, rent or mortgage payments, taxes and utilities. Small business grants start at $5,000 and must be used for pandemic-related expenses.

For eligibility rules and more information on the application process, please visit the state’s Pandemic Small Business Recovery Grant Program website at

Applications are approved on a first come first serve basis so get your applications in ASAP.
This program will help our small businesses after a very difficult year and I am hopeful that every eligible owner will take advantage of this important funding. Together, we can build back stronger than before.
